Short Abstract
:
Evaluation of National Health Programmes: A Pattern Analysis Background: - In the Indian context, evaluation entails the systematic and objective examination of policies & programmes to assess the efficacy, efficiency, relevance, and sustainability. Objective: - To describe the pattern analysis of National Health Programmes. Methodology: - The study design is based on the secondary data literature. The evaluation reports were collected and segregated into 3 different aspects such as non-communicable diseases, communicable disease, and other disease programmes. Result: - A pattern analysis of national health programmes showed numerous critical facts that give insights into the programmes' implementation, performance, and impact. The comparison of analysis pattern between communicable, non- communicable & other disease programs reports that the evaluation pattern of communicable disease program reflects a periodical evaluation pattern.

Evaluation of National Health Programmes: A Pattern Analysis

Background: - In the Indian context, evaluation entails the systematic and objective examination of policies & programmes to assess the efficacy, efficiency, relevance, and sustainability. Evaluation is a crucial step in the policymaking process. The actions are meant to raise the standard of living for Indian inhabitants. In order to help decision-makers, it is also important to make sure that results are appropriately shared with other stakeholders and policymakers. Evaluation of a programme is conducted by the government or other organisations.

Objective: - To describe the pattern analysis of National Health Programmes.

Methodology: - The study design is based on the secondary data literature. The evaluation reports were collected and segregated into 3 different aspects such as non-communicable diseases, communicable disease, and other disease programmes. Further the analysis will focus on the pattern of the evaluation of National Health Program. It is important to adapt the methodology to the specific context, objectives, and available resources of the health program being evaluated.

Further it shows status of incidence & prevalence of disease. As non-communicable shows discrepancy & gaps in evaluation of health programs over a period of time.

The analysis reported differences in programme coverage across areas and demographic categories. Some regions had higher rates of involvement, while others had lesser coverage. Gaps in programme utilisation were discovered, especially among disadvantaged and marginalised groups, indicating the need for targeted interventions to increase service access and uptake.
