Long Abstract
:

There were several challenges faced by women in rural areas, like limited access to healthcare facilities, poor sanitation and hygiene practices, and high levels of poverty and malnutrition. The major problem in rural areas is the lack of access to healthcare services. They also do not have proper access to health facilities like antenatal care and skilled birth attendants, which increases the risk of maternal and child mortality. There is a shortage of healthcare professionals and facilities in rural Bihar, which makes it difficult for women to access quality healthcare services. Another challenge is poor sanitation and hygiene practices. The lack of proper sanitation facilities, including access to clean water and toilets, can lead to various health problems, such as infections and diseases. Poor hygiene practices, such as not washing hands regularly, can also contribute to the spread of illness.

Poverty and malnutrition are significant factors impacting women's health in rural Bihar. Many people in these areas still struggle to meet their basic needs, including access to nutritious food, which can result in malnutrition and related health problems. Malnourished mothers are more likely to give birth to underweight babies, increasing infant mortality risk. Along with these issues, Covid-19 created different challenges for them, affecting them mentally, physically, financially, and so on.

Women's health in rural Bihar faces many challenges, including limited access to healthcare services, poor sanitation and hygiene practices, and high levels of poverty and malnutrition. The condition of the health structure is not even so good in the area & could-19 brings many changes. The condition of PHC is not even fulfilling the need of patients in terms of beds, test facilities, infrastructure, medicines, etc.
