Abstract Title
:
Individual perspective of the contamination-violence relationship and the construction of risk society in the metropolitan area of Guadalajara, Jalisco.
Short Abstract
:
Autoethnography of personal migration to the shores of the metropolitan area of Guadalajara, Jalisco. Experience of the contamination-violence relationship, where the migration of people from South America and families with limited economic and educational resources is observed daily, which promotes the construction of a risk society reflected in an unhealthy and unsafe context for the local population in this area.
Long Abstract
:

Autoethnography of personal migration to the shores of the metropolitan area of ??Guadalajara, Jalisco. A personal narrative methodology of my individual perception of the "Chulavista" community with risk factors for their development and health is used. Construction of behaviors and adaptative mechanisms for urban survival as well as dangers increasing the risk of a local catastrophe. Of a qualitative nature, it allows the academic contribution of a small personal look at modern Mexico, and the Latin American reality outside the global vision of the world that allows us to verify the anthropological vision known in an intimate look at the shores of the city of Guadalajara and a degree of depersonalization of the narrator in this context. It is observed in the narration events of normalized violence, contamination and even what I catalog as a local disaster, a flood due to the overflow of a nearby dam, according to popular belief. Which paralyzes the main access roads to this community and causing damage to it, as well as habitual ways of life in the context before these events, which is interesting in the understanding of human behavior, its society and culture.
