Leisure is free time activity that is time spent away from business, work, job hunting domestic chores and education, as well as necessary activities such as eating and sleeping Across societies and communities, the natural environment provides amenities and resources that people readily identify within pursuits of leisure in urban and rural areas. People are now becoming environmentally aware and ecologically minded which has gradually given rise to the concept of eco-leisure whether in the outdoors or indoors. For spending leisure time people normally go to various tourist sites like beaches, beach resorts, pilgrims centers, summer resorts, hill stations not only within the country but also abroad, people pollute the environment by making it dirty by throwing away waste material like wrappers, plastic bottles and all kind single use of plastics. For the transport producers a lot of pollution with in environment, where the it is air, railway, bus, suvs and cars. They all consumes a lot of fuel and damage the atmosphere on the other hand a beautiful natural environment produces peace enjoyment and serenity and tranquility among the people this produces lot of mental peace among the people leading to social development. Under the backdrop the present paper has two objectives (a)To understand the positive impact of pleasure activities on environment. (b) To understand the negative impact of pleasure activities on environment. For this paper 100 schedules will be filed up and administered among the middle class families in Aliganj colony Lucknow.
