This paper takes daily life as the research entry point starting from the application of daily life, analyzes the interaction between daily life and urban heritage. How to deal with various new phenomena in urban heritage protection and how to study urban heritage protection are important issues that need to be paid attention to at present. On the basis of sorting out the academic process of daily life and urban heritage protection, combined with the existing research and practice results of the academic circle, from the daily life as a starting point, this paper proposes that we should pay attention to both the static in urban heritage protection and the dynamic of People's Daily life, so as to reflect on the fragmentation of urban heritage protection By reviewing the methods and theories of urban heritage protection. This paper discusses the feasibility and significance of the holistic study of daily life in urban heritage protection. So as to make daily life become an effective path of urban heritage protection research. Therefore, for the protection of urban heritage, we need to change our thinking, people should realize that the culture in daily life should be an important soul in the protection of urban heritage, which is also a frontier issue in exploring the protection and regeneration of urban heritage.
