Seeking common value and shared knowledge on solar-calendar system among the Han, Yi, European, African, and Latin American--KUSHI/DUZE-sientific ethnographic filmmaking collaborative and participatory approaches
Short Abstract
:
Great transformation has taken place since the world war II, improved global research condition also helps teachers and students from the global south to realize, learn and re-understand the passibility and deap-meaning for our third world scholars/students to conduct the real global multi-sited fieldwork practice, and to perform real meaningful thick-description methodological research projects, our team paper will discuss on newly finished Kushi/Duze film project, It covers topics such as challenges, tensions, and friendship in conducting an internaitonal cooperative fieldwork project and related methodological issues.
Long Abstract
:

Due to crucial changes in global political economic structure, international efforts to build the world govern-agencies, parliment and court system, global educational institutions are now making co-efforts to bring new insights to help teachers to prepare their field-studies methological courses and related curriculum materials in different regions, fieldwork method course teaching values have been shifted from earlier more on instrumental,utiliterial and even gender-biased approaches, to current reflecting on the moral,equality,and demoratical principles /values:

Our Kushi/Duze international production team co-writing paper will discuss following issues: 

1)selectinf, working and developing visual strategies/ethnographic cinema images to present and re-present human-universal communication, relation between human being and the sacred world,  probe into the mystery of the universe, explore the knowledge of solar-calendar system co-sharing by both Yi and Inca nation; 2) on the roles. the relationship among,  and terms such as researchers, informants, mediators, local consultants, scientists, authorities, clerics, experts of philosophy, languages, classical literatures, music and dance, folklore, local scholars,naturalists, botanists, and zoologists; 3) relationships with ethnic others-our team's  co-writing and producing relationality; 4) on subaltern voices;  5) how the methogological theories developed in the West classrooms could be re-studied, re-considered and re-evaluated in the classrooms in the global soluth; 6) the changing nature of current internaitonal relationship and its impact on state, public sphere and academic structures; and 7) agency and action research methods produced from anthropological institutions of the global south.
