Long Abstract
:

The Baiga tribe is a Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group (PVTG) in India that has experienced significant health disparities compared to non-indigenous populations. Despite government efforts to improve the health outcomes of PVTGs, the Baiga tribe continues to face several challenges that contribute to poor health outcomes. The Baiga tribe is historically marginalised and excluded from the health facilities, which has contributed significantly to their poor health outcomes. Factors such as poverty, inadequate housing, and limited access to healthcare services contributed to the poor health of the Baiga tribe. Traditional beliefs and practices around health and wellness also play a significant role in the health outcomes of the Baiga tribe. There are several barriers to accessing healthcare services, including a lack of transportation, language barriers, and cultural insensitivity from healthcare providers. Study discusses the socio-economic and cultural factors on health seeking behaviour of Baiga tribes. This article provides the holistic approach to understand the poor health outcomes of the Baiga tribe. It suggests the way forward for the improving and accesing the health care facilities for the Baiga tribes.
