I haveĀ faith inĀ justice now: how digital intervention alters students' awareness and reporting regarding harassment in a university
Short Abstract
:
In this research, we have shown how digital culture can enhance lifestyles and educate people in terms of harassment. Our work, particularly for university students, is to understand their perceptions about harassment and the measures they typically take to report it in the traditional system. We found that students' comprehension of harassment is very inadequate, and they also have less trust on traditional harassment reporting system. In our study, we showed that digital culture can ameliorate the situation. We devised digital interventions for both creating awareness and reporting and found that this approach worked better than the traditional one.
