Long Abstract
:

Since 2018, We have continuously followed up and investigated the "Nimu Cuobi" ceremony, an important ceremony of the Yi people.

"Nimu Cuobi" is the language of Yi nationality. after the death of predecessors, the descendants held for them to send the spirit of the dead to the ancestral place, worship the deceased ancestors, pray for the soul of ancestors, protect the family peace, offspring flourishing, relieve the crisis and anxiety faced by the family, at the same time through the crisis and anxiety of the family to readjust the order, resolve the crisis, the family find solace from the ceremony. This is the largest passing ceremony in Liangshan Yi area, which not only reflects the understanding of life and ancestors of Yi people, but also reflects the characteristics of traditional religious rituals and the deepest cultural logic of Yi people.
