Short Abstract
:
This article is an examination of the history of pastoralism in vidarbha region which have significant social and economical impact on this communities and how it will help them to kept pastures grass for long time till summer and their grazing cultures will help them to revitalize the barren and waste land into grazing pastures make preventive landscape from desertification . Including Bhaldev festival of nand gavali community and Their migration and their cultural practices has significance importance in prevention and conservation of indigenous grasses. This article will also examine this colonial era policies and current policies and its indirect impact on this communities, their markets and self community driven preventive methods of conserving the gaolao pasture and forest role in decreasing indigenous cattle and this communities surviving story.
